Having downloaded a two-factor Authentication application on your Smart Phone, Google Authenticator is recommended.
When entering the Banexcoin page, go to the menu on the left side of the screen and click on settings icon to enter the Profile and Security settings.
Already in Profile and Security should be directed to the bottom, where it indicates Authenticacion.
Click on the switch-shaped button to activate two-factor authentication.
You will be shown the two-factor authentication menu where it is necessary to open the app for authentication on your Smart phone, enter it, scan the QR code which will provide you with 6 digits that must be placed in the fields that indicate it in the same order.
After filling in the fields automatically, two-factor authentication will be enabled.
If you have completed all the steps correctly, you will see that in the Two-Factor Authentication image the button will remain "ON", which means that you have successfully completed your 2FA activation process.

You must take into account that if you lose access to your device where you have activated your 2FA you will lose access to your account, due to this after activating it you must request and save it in a safe place that only you have access your 2FA recovery code, it is a code consisting of more than 50 alphanumeric characters which you can use to activate your 2FA on a new device in the event that you make a change to your current mobile device or lose it the same, to obtain it you can see the instructions by clicking here.
- Take in mind that in the case of having deactivated 2FA it is necessary to perform the activation steps again, in this case you must scan the QR code offered by the page again and you will obtain a new, different verification code to the one you previously had, so it's important that you also save your new 2FA recovery code to avoid inconvenience if you ever lose your mobile device.
-In case you have changed your Smartphone or you have lost it, you must carry out the 2FA recovery process if you have saved your recovery code, if you have not saved your code, you must contact Banexcoin Support by sending an email to [email protected] and expose your situation by providing your registered email on the Banexcoin platform and User Name.
